The new and improved Rasmussen home!

As many know we have done a lot of moving the past year. First we moved into my dads house with hopes of fixing it up and buying it. We were renting out our house to my mom while she tried to get a loan on it. Then Halliburton offered Chris a job so we packed up and moved to Wyoming. We rented an apartment there. In May Chris was laid off so we made the move back to Utah, my mom at this point was in the process of getting a loan on our house so we found a home in Tremonton that we were doing a lease to own on until we could sell ours. When my mom started the loan process she was told she would be closed in 30 days. Well 90 days later they told her they couldn't do it. So we decided to just move back into our old house rather than continue to rent it out with no hopes of buying the one we were living in. We decided while we had it all cleaned out to do some remodeling and this is the results! This is the boys room. I still Have a border and it needs the baseboards and trim done but its a big improvement.

This is the new hardwood flooring and paint, it too still needs trim and baseboards but it's coming together.

This is the girls room and my favorite. I love how it all came together.

This is the master bedroom. We still have a bunch to do in here. We don't even currently have a bed because Chris broke our foot board when we moved and we haven't got it in to be fixed yet.

This is the kitchen. We put the new cabinets and appliances in about 2 years ago and put in new tile at the same time but for some reason the tile kept lifting so we redid the floor in hardwood.

A better picture of the kitchen floor. We are so very pleased with how nicely it's all come together. We still have some trim and baseboards to do and I will post pics when it's all done.
