So as many people already know I have a VERY tall ten year old son. We have been told by many that we need to get a basketball in his hands so indeed that is what we have done. We got his a basketball hoop to let him just play around and see if he liked it. He did. So at the beginning of summer we sent him to a 3 day BB camp at the high school. He walked in the door and they all assumed he was an 8Th grader, the oldest age allowed to come to the camp. He's going into 5Th this year, they were pretty surprised by this. So a few weeks later I read on FB the newest draft pick of the Jazz is coming to do a free clinic for the youth of our area.
Jeremy Evans a new player from the Jazz standing at 6 feet 8 inches tall. Trey was so excited to go. The kids each got to play a one on one game against him and he talked about his life and answered some questions. Chris asked him how tall he was at 10. He said he remembers that around 6Th or 7Th grade so around 12 or 13 he was 5' 7''. Trey is 5' 9''. So there is a good chance we'll have at least a six and a half foot son.
Trey and Jeremy playing one on one.
Treyson still loves to learn and read and will probably always be our book worm but it's nice to see he is finding other things he likes to do.

That's awesome Katie, he looks so tall next to him. Get that kid working on his jumpshot... you might have your retirement right there!
