Mom and Karli also had their hair cut although ours wasn't long enough to donate. The girl got happy scissors with my hair and cut it WAY shorter than I wanted but I really like it now and it looks OK with curls or straight.Wednesday, March 4, 2009
Kassi Jo showing lots of love for Locks of Love!!!
About 2 weeks ago Kassi came to me telling me all about how her teacher had cut her hair and donated it to locks of love. Kassi who has been growing her hair out for 2 years and wanted it down to her waist had decided to cut hers and donate it too. I waited a few weeks to make sure she really wanted to do it. It was all she talked about so last week I researched it online and found out all the rules. Her hair was perfect so on Thursday we took the plunge. Kassi cut 11 inches from her hair. She was so proud and excited. We haven't sent the hair in yet because we have been pretty busy but it will be on it's way by the end of this week. Kassi has now decided that she will keep growing it out past 10 inches and then send it in to help the little girls without hair. I am so very proud of her and the fact that she would want to do this to help someone else out because growing her hair out has been a big deal for her. I love you Kassi and am very glad to have such a thoughtful and kind little girl.

Cute pictures! Your hair is darling...I like it. I need to post a picture of my new 'do'! That's so sweet of Kassi to donate her hair. What a girl! I miss you. :(
