Another busy week

Well it has been a real eventful week. Treyson started soccer this week and we missed his first game because we looked at the wrong time on the schedule but we did make it to his second game and he did really well. He still has a long way to go but he has some good coaches that will hopefully teach him the skills he will need because he really likes to play.

The three oldest all started swim lessons on Monday. We started all three of them in level 1 but Trey and Kassi were moved to level 2 the first day and seem to be doing well. I think Kassi will be swimming like a fish in no time. The other 2 are still a little less daring in the water. Trey won't be far behind and after just 2 lessons Karli has gotten a lot more comfortable in the water and actually went down the slide 3 times.

Treyson went to the dentist on Monday and only had 1 cavity and a bunch of baby teeth that are almost ready to fall out. The Dentist told us in 6 months he will be ready to start braces. Wow do I feel old. A kid old enough for braces.

On Friday Halliburton ( the company Chris works for) announced layoffs, 300 of them. Thank goodness it did not affected Rock Springs but it is a little to close to home you know. This economy is really getting scary but everything happens for a reason. We just look at it that if he gets laid off there must be something else out there for us right? Maybe back to Utah? I don't know I guess we will see.

I'm glad Chris wasn't affected by any of the layoffs. The economy is a scary thing right now. I try to not think about it too much, but seeing as I'm quite the analyzer...I think of it quite often in reality. Treyson gets to start braces shortly, huh? Taylor will start them sometime next year. Goodbye $$ hello welfare! :)
